Works well - but one significant glitch
Works great to calm a crying baby. One potential downside is that it only runs on 15 or 30 minute intervals, after which it shuts off (requiring manual reset to turn back on). If your baby is using it to fall & stay asleep, when it shuts off it might wake them up - like it does to my child. So this is why rating not 5 stars.

In my opinion the babyshusher is a wonderful product. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased it. Some babies respond to shushing and some don't. Ours does, so this has proved an invaluable product. Some people complain that it requires two hands to work. While that is true, I don't feel it's a issue. I love the fact that it has a half hour and an hour timer and has a volume control because it can get quite loud. Overall I am very pleased with the product and its features.

The product is great, just don't buy refurbished.
Bought the baby shusher refurbished, used three times and it does not work. Tried changing batteries and still nothing. Wanted this as a back up for the one I bought originally 3 years ago. The one from the years ago is still going strong, this one is not, very disappointed.

Unfortunately this product did not work for us.
Purchased this based on what I saw on Rachel Ray and some of the reviews I read about it. Hoping it would work for my grandson. I guess all babies are different, because it did not work at all for him. The product is well made, but that's about it. I was really hoping I would be able to give 5 starts with positive review, but unfortunately it is just not the case, for us anyway. Sorry... Insert sad face.

Baby shusher
Didn’t think I would use it much. Came recommended by my nanny. On the occasions I have used it it does help calm the baby and takes over from me saying shhhh!! Baby is 15 weeks and good at self settling but this works when he is having a bad day.

Best product!
I order this item for my daughter and son in law who have a newborn. After sever sleepless nights they used the shusher. It is a miracle worker. Don't think just buy it! It will amaze you!

Very happy with the product, but..
The items say its brand new but when it came to us, the box was opened (not 100% new) and the strap had some dust marks, no problems other than that... some quick wash on the strap, put batteries and all work as expected....

This little gadget works like a miracle!!! My daughter uses it for my granddaughter and it works to calm her every single time!! No new parent should be without it!!!

This is a great item it really soothes baby while they lie in their crib and sides in helping them to fall asleep

This thing is amazing! its way better than making the shhhhhh noise yourself! great invention:) babies love it! at first i thought it was pretty expensive but it is way worth its money!
