Review Kato N scale Super Chief set C
This a must have if you already have the Super Chief 8 car set (or the newer release A and B 4 car sets). It is also a nice add on to the Super Chief starter set. It includes 2 10-6 and 2 4-4-2 sleepers for a total of 4 sleeping cars. As usual for Kato the cars have superb details, paint and graphics. They also have fully detailed jnteriors and can be equipped for either DC or DCC drop in lighting. Kato sells these separately. Note to parents: these are fragile adult oriented hobbyist trains; not toy trains. They are pricy, but you get what you pay for. 90+% of my passenger rolling stock is Kato, with a couple of Con Cor cars to model cars that Kato doesn't make. The Super Chief was known as "the train of the stars" because of the A list celebrities who loved the 5 star luxury on this train. The Super Chief was pulled by EMD F3 and F7 locomotives with the famous "warbonnet" paint scemes. These are also made by Kato.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Kato does it again

Disappointed
I had to find and then install replacement wheels to all the coaches in this set. The "new and more prototypical wheels" won't stay on the tracks. The flanges are not as deep as the previous wheels.
