Defective....did not function out of the box
Item was defective and would not function as received brand new. Apparently Cannon does not have a QA department or any testing before they package . The handle to activate the swivel function would not move and therefore the swivel did not work. Since I needed this item for a fishing trip I dismantled the unit and made the proper repairs to get the unit to function . Slot for the swivel handle was not milled properly and had to be filed to allow the handle to move within the slot . Also had to "re- taper" the pin that is used to lock down the swivel position. I cannot believe that non functioning unit made it through the factory. The swivel function is a must but this mount seamed too flimsy for me to trust a $1000 down rigger from going overboard. Used for the fishing trip then replaced the unit with another brand. Sorry Cannon but you let me down

4" swivel pedestal mount
Perfect fit for my Bert's track on my boat, rotates and locks every 22.5 degrees, giving you more trolling positions. Cannon tab lock mounting bases attached with no problems, cant wait to fish this setup next spring!
