Great DCC Control - For MAC users and all.

Generally good but with quirks!
Well made, easy to use and fun to link to an iPad and control trains that way. One or two drawbacks as with all systems. It takes a while to set up all locos and points on the z21 app. Also, there is a known incompatibility with Hormby TTS locos (they do not always respond to the controller!) However I believe a 'fix' from the Internet might get around this problem. Also, turnout addresses have to be set 'four higher' than their original number ( 1 has to be coded 5, for example) if using older accessory decoders. Again this does not matter too much as once a turnout is represented by an 'Icon' on a screen track diagram, then it's 'number' becomes irrelevant. Once the set-up phase is complete, if linked to an iPad the system is very easy to use as alll locos, functions and accessories are operated by simple touches on the iPad screen. It just misses out on a five-star rating due to the problems listed above.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
