Good unit and works great - but I never tested it by plugging straight into my community fibre network (the device was "UPP" branded) . I always intended to flash openwrt onto the device (usually quite easy) but the only way I could do this with this model was to open it up and connect via USB serial dongle and make some changes. There are a lot of these ISP specific routers available and they don't always work as expected. Happily, I was able to update this with the retail firmware and add it as a node to my home network. It looked brand new when I opened it and is inconspicuous on a shelf in the kitchen. I like these because they don't have all the antennae sticking out. Good coverage
I now have 8 nodes in the mesh which gives good coverage across a large property. I did find child nodes occasionally dropping out which interrupted teams calls. Bizarrely toggling WPS off and then on again solved the problem.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
