Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe one of the great architects of the twentieth century this single-story steel structure with floor-to-ceiling glass walls was designed to be the ultimate example of a minimalist interior opening itself to nature. Farnsworth House is perhaps the best expression of van der Rohe's minimalist style and personal motto ""less is more"". Construction of Farnsworth House tookplace from 1945-1951 on a 60-acre estate beside the Fox River in Plano Illinois where it still stands today. Farnsworth House Lego Set
