Using her guile and charm she assists her father create a symphony orchestra and with the help of legendary conductor Leopold Stokowski (Fantasia) they win a lucrative radio contract. Also in tune are perennial favourites Alice Brady and Eugene Pallette. 100 Men and A Girl was nominated for 5 Academy Awards in 1937 including Best Picture, Story, Sound and Editing and won for its musical score by Charles Previn. Musical highlights include A Heart Thats Free, Its Raining Sunbeams, Brindisi from Verdis La Traviata, Alleluia from Mozarts Exultate Jubilate, and other classical works by Liszt, Wagner and Tchaikovsky.
