  • Job Done - Permanently

Perfect epoxy for applications where components get hot in use. Standard epoxies can be melted by boiling water, so are no good for car cooling system projects. Easy to use and performing well so far. Not suitable for "quick fixes" because the setting time is fairly long. Can apparently be machined, but I didn't need to and I liked the dark grey finish.

  • Totally satisfied with this product!

Worked perfectly to mount back the metal heatsink brackets on the stacked fiberglass layers of my notebook motherboard (ASUS ROG GL552JX). I had my doubts regarding this matter because I saw an article online about someone not being able to get it fixed using epoxy resin. However, decided to give it a go with JB Weld and now the brackets don't seem to detach anytime soon! Just follow the instructions (degrease and roughen surfaces a bit) and don't be shy putting a little extra on the outer side of the bound once in place, since JB Weld is not electrical conductive. Allow to cure 24h for safety and you're good to go :)

  • Easy to use and handy for emergency repairs etc.

Easy to use, hardly any oudour, doesn't run and end up in places you didn't intend for it to go and it's "no big deal" if you get some on your hands while appying it because it's very easy to clean off your hands. Excellent for reinforcing less well made electronic gadgets' often wobbly fixtures before they break off and bonding the connecting wires etc was my main reason for buying it as well as being handy stuff have in the home tool bin when stuff breaks.

  • Sets like iron and simple to use.

I bought a post box for my daughters wedding a few years ago, and when I found it again it was battered and rusty. I sanded it down and repainted it, but the lock was broken and I had to force it off. Genuine locks were very expensive and I couldn't find one anyway, so I bought a lock and key of similar size, but the mounting holes were not the right size. I put one screw in and before I tightened it up I put your product on the pillars which held the lock. After 24 hours your product had set rock hard and held the lock securely. I used the key on the lock, and it worked a treat, saving me a lot of time and money. The bond seems fine and I was able to sand, any excess, down. It was very easy to use and sold at a very reasonable price. I was delighted I had discovered your product and would recommend it to anybody. Thanks.

  • Jb cold weld Jb weld

Was totally sceptical at first to be honest if it would work, but done a few small jobs with it so far and it has stood up to the task perfectly,I even repaired my activity air fryer which gets super hot what I needed to fix and for weeks now it’s lasted with no issues at all,I’d say it’s even stronger than the original part as that flexed slightly where’s Jb weld it absolutely solid. Got to test it on a slight leak on my exhaust today so that will be a good test to see how well it holds up but if all the other reviews are genuine then it should definitely do it,fingers crossed, but I recon it will as done everything else I’ve used it for up to date. Cheap price to and haven’t got to use it all in one go unlike some others as it’s a resealable tube and a little actually goes quite a long way. Can’t fault it at all really as worked well for my jobs whereas ALL other super glues ect have failed big time. Personally I recommend this stuff and for a fiver just over you can’t really go wrong. Top marks so far 👍👍👍

  • Excellent, hard ,repair epoxy.

This epoxy is very strong, but be aware it does not cure as quickly as say Plastic padding, you must clamp or fix the components so they can cure for 24 hours in position. I use it when fixing metal breakages or joining. I have just repaired a broken North/South Lead ( that is the metal Lead) arm of my old Weather vane. It has made a great job. It is important that you clean the repair or joining area thoroughly before using this product, I am certainly happy with it.

  • Tick Tock and Away

A little dubious about this product but hay ho. Ordered it and it arrived in good time. Mixed the weld as directed and used it to fill ware marks on a clock pallet. ( the thing that makes the tick tock noise of a mechanical clock). filed the excess off shaped the claw and built the clock back up. JB Weld Cold Weld Steel worked a treat. the clock has been running now for two weeks ( about two winds). hopefully the clock will now last another 100 years. Thank you JB WELD ORIGINAL COLD WELD STEEL REINFORCED EPOXY GLUE STRONG BOND

  • JB weld did what I expected.

JB weld did what I required it to do, I had a small hole in a cast iron cylinder head, cleaned it up and followed the instructions applied it left it set. no more hole or water leak, so it is good for sealing and so far hasn't been affected by the heat or the coolant.

  • The answer to metal repairs.

I bought this product to have on hand if needed. About 8 years ago the petrol tank on my 1953 Ferguson tractor started to leak from corrosion and I knew from many years experience that most other branded repair kits often failed. I removed the tank, upended it, cleaned, scoured the area and prepared some of the larger holes before applying J B Weld. Two coats reinforced with bandage from the first aid kit and it hasn't leaked as yet...
