Classic MTV when MTV was the channel to watch.
Just some classic MTV from MTV's true "golden era", the 90s. I guess the only drawback is most of the original music isn't included, but that can't be helped. Even though some of the sketches may not be the best, the majority are hilarious. It was our first exposure to the great comedians that went on to create other great series, including Reno 911. Good value for old fans of The State who don't want to be at the mercy of streaming services
In a world of streaming rights coming and going uncontrollably, it's nice to own some stuff. The State is both funny and cringeworthy, as any product of its time (closing in on 30 years old?) tends to be.
