Horrifically relevant to this day!
Fantastic movie that has a young couple and their families experience nuclear war while in Sheffield England. The devastation after is horrendous. But even more horrifying is the torture the few survivors endure weeks, months, and years after the annihilation. Interesting extras on how the movie was made, and the controversy it caused when released.

Remastered classic original
This movie brought back horror end of days feelings I experienced as a '80's kid. It's not so scary now. I wasn't able to rent it anywhere so I own it now. The remaster on HD was better than I thought it would be. Very few movies make it into my library. This is a classic British movie.

Great movie
Thread is an incredible movie and it’s well worth the purchase and I’m so glad I was finally able to find it on DVD Blu-ray.
