The First Tycoon is a great book for a lay person or scholar. The book illustrates the unbridled capitalism of the 19th century.
This book was in fine condition with no writing, marks, or highlighting. This book is essential to understanding why people like Vanderbilt, Astor, Rockefeller, Carnegie and J.P. Great history of a true businessman.
Learning the history of how he started and built is fortune literally from the ground up, is really inspirational. Like all “history books” it can get to be some dry reading at times, but for the most part an excellent read.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
