Brilliant Plex Treatment!
This olaplex dupe is well worth the money! I bleached by long hair today with the stated amount of this in the mixture and my hair has remained in very good condition considering what I've just done to it! It's very easy to use - just draw up 1ml of the activator per 6g of bleach powder (the packet of bleach in each of my bleach kits was 20g, so I put slightly over 3ml in for each one. I used 3 bleach kits in all so altogether used about 10ml of the activator.) I mixed the bleach up first and then dropped the activator in and mixed thoroughly. It doesn't seem to affect the lifting ability of the bleach at all thankfully. I used the #2 stabilizer as well afterwards as a sort of conditioner (the instructions tell you to rinse out the bleach and then just go straight to this step - don't shampoo!) I left that in for about 30 minutes and my hair smelled lovely. It still has curl and bounce and looks pretty healthy considering - will definitely be using it again and won't do anything to my hair now colour-wise without some of this in. My only criticism is that the writing on the instructions is so tiny, but it does tell you how to use for lightening, colouring, perming and also as a stand-alone treatment.
