A tear jerker" get the tissues ready.
I do not cry easily, but I do every time I watch this, poor woman and such a cruel ending. The scenes and characters are engaging also both bright and dark... You can not help but feel for Tess, because of the evil men do" .

A very well acted film. The film’s storyline has kept very close to the original book. Very entertaining.

Not a good value for money.
The DVD is not Brandnew. Sealed in cellophane but the discs have plenty of scratches and the DVD case is damaged.
