Definite improvement over standard bulbs
I have tried laser ultra bright lamps in the past (not Osram) and while definitely brighter they have not lasted very long. The Osram Nightbreaker Silver appear to be marketed as a general upgrade replacement, brighter than standard with a reasonable life expectancy and this is exactly what I am hoping for. I cannot say how long they will last, but I can say they appear to be well made, fit well (a necessity as underbonnet room is often limited) and well packed as a duo box which can be safely tucked away ready for use. Physically the glass is plain, no blue tint, with a silver cap. I use these for dip beam only in a lens type reflector headlight, there is a definite improvement over the standard bulbs with improved brightness and colour rendition of roadside objects, being dip replacement I cannot confirm the visible distance gain but has shown up the standard main beam limitations so based on these I will definitely be replacing the main beam with the same brand bulbs very soon!!

Much better than previous lights that we...
Much better than previous lights that were in car. So far just had them in rain, be good to see what they like in fog/ snow. Used to LEDs 1dt time going back to standard bulbs in a long time! Very happy

Better than most halogen bulbs
They are way brighter than most stock halogens, not white white but do have a good range of light especially on most dark roads I drive on and certainly the quality is there in the build

Perfect subtle upgrade
Spot on! Exactly what I wanted... Good light, roadsigns/ markings brighter sooner, not a silly colour, or blinding to other drivers... I had the previous silverstar 2.0 which were great too...

This product does everything it says on the box. Better, longer and whiter light. Highly recommended.

Worthy updrade
These bulbs were a very significant upgrade over oem fitments. I only fitted dip beams as I rarely use mains. Great white, bright light!

Improved headlamp bulbs
These slightly higher performance bulbs probably don't last as long as lower power bulbs but extra light equals extra heat so probably we should expect this
