Original Pebble design is timeless
As an original Pebble watch it's a piece of tech history. However one has to understand that the original product stopped working in 2016. Overall. Great product.
When it arrived I thought it was broken. Upon charging it it failed to boot and gave me an error screen with a codes 0xFE504502 and 0xFE504501. And I couldn't reset the device. After allowing the battery to die. It booted properly and was easy to pair, try watchfaces, set shortcuts, install apps. Pebble still has their old version of the app on iOS, so make sure to get the new one. Construction is amazing. Very water resistant. Changing the band requires a 1.5mm flathead screwdriver. Continues to rock, on my second Pebble Steel
Even though the company Pebble is gone, the hardware continues to work well for me. I just replaced my old and abused Pebble Steel with a refurb model that looks and performs as good as new for a fraction of what I'd have to pay for a name-brand smart watch. My previous Pebble Steel lasted over 6 years, I'm hoping that the replacement will last at least a few more. Not all of the software features continue to work but for what I want (app notifications, music controls with Amazon Prime music, weather and tide clock faces), it continues to rock.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Other than a seized bolt, extremely happy with the purchase
The watches arrived in excellent physical condition. I bought 2 to have an extra in case one was unfixable. Popping a new battery in the first one got it up and running though, so I haven't tried replacing the battery in the second watch yet. The only fly in the ointment is that one of the bolts was seized in place so it stripped trying to remove it. I had to drill it out, which allowed me to remove the watch back, but it is now impossible to secure that corner of the watch back with a new bolt. The watch is therefore not effectively sealed against the weather.
