Family Affair review

An early show that had two single male role models trying to raise three children who recently lost their parents. Through the laughter and tears there is a family bond that grew out of necessity and circumstances. Good old-fashioned family show.
The complete TV series in one compact boxed set. If you are nostalgic for 60s sit-coms or family shows, this fills the bill very nicely. I didn't watch this show as a child (though I was around!) but discovered it as an adult when oldie shows started playing on cable TV. It's not West Wing, but it is good old-fashioned family fare. It's especially nice in COVID times to have a show like this to binge-watch. AWESOME FAMILY SHOW!
This show is a favorite of mine. It is still very entertaining today. I love all of the characters. This show is so much better than the television shows today. Erinnerungen an die Kindheit werden wach.
Wie wohl jeder meiner Generation, kenne ich Family Affair aus meiner Kindheit. In deutscher Ausgabe sind nur 70 Episoden zu bekommen. Die habe ich auch und wollte gerne die kompletten Episoden. Darum habe ich mich für diese Originalausgabe entschieden. Ich bin ganz begeistert davon. Auch heute noch, geht diese Serie gleichzeitig zu Herzen, unterhält dabei aber auch amüsant. Einfach nur gut gemacht und immer noch gut zu sehen, ohne "angestaubt " zu wirken. Das verdankt die Serie der unvergleichlichen Darsteller. Jeder von Ihnen geht in der jeweiligen Rolle auf und gibt die dargestellte Person authentisch wider. Noch immer anrührend und menschlich. Am Ende steht dann wieder der Wunsch, so einen Onkel Bill haben zu wollen. Absolute Empfehlung daher.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Affairs of the Family
A hugely enjoyable & entertaining series half a step back from reality, though based in a place & a World that we all recognize with familiarity & nostalgia. Might get a little syrupy at times, but honestly, so it goes in real life. Great value, complete series cost, divided by episode total, each episode lest than a caramel latte. Good clean fun values!
Even though the show is from the sixties you would never know it doesn't seem outdated when you watch it the stories are on spot with some humor thrown in.
