GREAT PRICE, especially with free shipping, and terrific little unit!
1st of all, this is an amazingly inexpensive price. While I have not had the opportunity to use this yet, I had the exact same microphone before it was misplaced. However, when I did have the opportunities to use it, it performed magnificently. Most of the Olympus Digital Voice Recorders, like the WS 822 or the WS 801 do not record nearly as well from 5 or 6 feet away as they do when it's within a foot or 2 of the person dictating. THIS microphone compensates for all that with crystal-clear sound. The key is to not put it where it might get jostled, which is why they give you the type clip. Evp ghost hunting

For Olympus only or other powered jacks. Won't work for anything else without power.

great microphone
Just got mine today to use with my digital RCA recorder. It works great even in a slight wind with the microphone cover. If it slips to much put a small rubber band around the base.
