Spartan in 1971 Chevy c10 2wd, Sbc, auto.
I was worried that the spartan locker would be noisy and have bad street manners. But after installing and taking a 30 mile or so drive around I was surprised at how quiet it was and how well it worked. Went home, opened up rear and checked for any funny business and found nothing. So with this spartan locker I was able to turn an open 3:73 into a posi for 250.00. Super easy install with decent directions and the results will leave 2 black lines on the street everytime.

Simplicity at its best.
Installed in a 1983 Chevy 4x4. Actually a 1976 differential. Axle clips a little tight to get in but be patient. Installed while in the truck so it can be done! Works fantastic and so simple in its design. The way things should be! Love it.

This thing is pretty awesome built very well shipping was good but take some pretty good mechanical experience to get it in and probably more than one person once you get it in it works fine would recommend

72 c10 - Good quality part
The only complaint was install. Man what a tight fit... putting the c clips back in was a major pain. Once in and put together seems like a very durable system. I haven’t road tested yet still putting the suspension together

Works great
Works great in my ‘69 Chevelle. Make sure to lube it up before 1st driving or it will be really loud, and use 140 weight gear oil with it.

a great locker
Installing the locker is just like the guide says. but they should be a lot clearer about putting the c clips back in. I am very happy with the performance of the locker.
