I have 3 units around my residence. I can play the same song at 1 time in 3 areas of the house if I want. I enjoy the Spotify Connect which seems to have better sound quality than Airplay or Aptx Bluetooth which I also have in each room as options. What I did was to add an Analog to Digital converter so that I could run the digital out to either an outboard dac on the main system or through the internal dac inside of the integrated amps in the other 2 rooms. Doing this give a greater depth 3 dimensional sound quality to both the Spotify Connect and the Allplay radio stations. I did an A/B on this before going through the extra effort and cost. I mostly stream Spotify and use the Allplay radio stations for background music and mp3's from my android phone. I just wanted to hear decent sound quality on average sources of music in different parts of my home while working or relaxing without much hassle, and the gramofon was reasonable way to do so.
It allows me to stream uninterrupted music while web browsing and taking calls. No running back to the unit because of range limitations. I got a tech hit and practical benefits. I need to buy a couple more.
This is a great WiFi appliance.
I use it with my stereo system to connect to SPOTIFY.
while the setup is a little involved, once setup it has run perfect for over 4 years.
I have 6 of these, all working flawless throughout the USA
