Not quite up to expectations.
Hiaasen's novels set in southern Florida are always humorous with great characters. The plot is always fast moving and interesting. I personally found Double Whammy a little less interesting than usual due to its concentration on professional tournament fishing. Watching the fishing shows on TV don't interest me and the descriptions of them and the characters involved are not quite as interesting as Hiaasen's other novels, in my opinion.
