Good features with good quailty playback pictures
Extensive menu options take a while to master as some menus take some finding. It functions well with good picture quality. The dubbing functions are easy to use. There are all the connections I needed and others I did not need but nice to have them there. It is difficult to decide how good the up scaling is but from what I could see it did seem to improve the playback. I would advise downloading the operating manual Overall it did what I wanted and did it well..

NOT HAPPY
Came with NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL a REMOTE NOT FOT THIS MACHINE. NOT ABLE TO USE purely because we haven’t got a clue how to. Wish we chose a different machine. A total waist of over two hundred quid.

Very pleased with the purchase.
The product works perfectly.500 gb is double the ordinary 250gb recorders of this sort.Also got it connected to my sony vcr player so can record my old vcrs onto dvd discs.
