electro spoils my funky mood
The first CD of a series seems to me like the best one in it (nightwax compilations progressively worsen with following editions, in terms of tracks selection - later were not that impactful as for club hits). The mix is a little bit too basic for me - better off if it'd been a lineup of Radio Edits, instead of just fading from one to anoher. Also the tracks order, which could have had been better thought through. There's something lacking for setting and keeping the right mood. Some tracks should be in slightly different versions - like David Gray or Chocolate Puma, or entirely different - like Roger Sanchez' Lost and the remix of Camels which are a nightmare. Yes, I'd prefer it had been more soulful and funky house compilation, because electro bits just spoil it for me. Overall good, because I bargained on it:)
