Shadow Vault is a tactical strategy game featuring significant role-playing elements, set in an alternate-history Earth. Players control a squad of soldiers bent on bringing down the world's overbearing Contingent government. Characters possess different skills, encouraging fast planning and efficient teamwork. As squad members gain experience through their missions, these abilities improve and expand. Initially reminiscent of Black Isle's classic Fallout, the game is set in a world very different from the one we know. Years of advanced warfare have stripped the planet, so the player's team must adventure through post-apocalyptic scenes of death and decay. Buildings and other landmarks are destructible, inviting additional tactical considerations and unexpected consequences. Shadow Vault is intended to appeal to both "hardcore" and "casual" gamers, and features an interface designed to be intuitive and empowering without a need for constant reference from a thick game manual.Product Identifiers
