The 'Alien Quadrilogy' DVD, released in 2004, covers the first four movies in the series, from 'Alien' to 'Alien Resurrection' which was released in 1997. The science fiction series follows the terrifying adventures of Ellen Ripley, played by Sigourney Weaver, as she confronts a species of extraterrestrial monsters known as 'Aliens.' These creatures, created by Swiss surreal artist H.R. Giger, use other living beings, including humans, as hosts for their offspring, which adapt their victims' traits. Absolute Must-Have For a Xenomorph Fan!
Having the first original Alien movie franchise with Sigourney Weaver is a must have if you are a fan! I had never seen the the extended versions of either of the four films before until I bought this Quadrilogy DVD set. I always thought the original theatrical versions were great, especially Alien, Aliens, but the extended editions really made the all four movies so much better! Especially Aliens and Alien 3!! The special features and featurettes are all great watches too! The only negative is that it's too bad they don't make such cool box sets like this anymore, especially for BluRay and 4k. I'm happy to finally have now after all this time it has eluded me for various reasons, since its release in 2003! And it has high re-watchablity for me!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great DVD set of a SciFi classic!
Glad to own this great 9 disc collection. Saw the original Alien theatre release and have followed each successive film over the years. This library gives you the option of watching the theatre release or the director's cut for each film. Also gives a behind the scenes view of Alien design elements, scene design and production, commentaries from actor's and directors. Best special edition!
Each of the alien movies has two versions, one is the precut edition which is awesome! Plus has a bonus extra dvd! I highly recommend this collection of Alien movie series!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great price for all you get.
Pros: Lots of extras. Cons: Some of the video quality is not so great. The picture is wavy is spots. Also, my biggest complaint is that I purchased this just to see Aliens again. The set says it contains the Theatrical and the Director's cut. However, both films are the Director's cut. This is really annoying. Great deal for Alien Fans!
The packaging of the DVD’s is great as it folds out in sections and has a booklet that include photos from each film, as well as some basic info like plot synopses and director's credits. Also included is a extra DVD that goes into the making of Alien movies, which I have not watched. The reason I purchased this set is that I only had the DVD’s of “Alien” and “Aliens” and wanted the other two movies that I only had on Laser Disc that were “Alien 3” and “Alien Resurrection” and I wanted to add these two to my DVD collection.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Alien Quadrilogy is Great
