This Game Boy Advance interpretation of the famously popular anime series comes in the form of a 2D fighting game with a twist. True to the television show, character are imbued with amazing powers which they can access at key times, and as much of the brawling occurs in mid-air as on the ground. Players choose to fight as one of 15 available Dragon Ball Z characters, which can be custom-improved as they win their way up the tournament ladders. Ultimate success unlocks new secret endings and alternate DBZ storylines. A classic DBZ GBA title
This game is a fantastic celebration of everything DBZ was about just a few odd years ago! The gameplay is excellently challenging, and the mechanics involved in fighting a battle are very intricate; they range from the more serious "don't-be-the-first-to-hit-the-A-button" close quarters fights, down to the "the-game-knows-if-you-are-blocking-or-not" skill ceiling.
