solid game, even if it is a castlevania clone
I had this game as a kid and was thrilled to find it again. In many ways it feels similar to the first Castlevania Game. The mechanics are a bit different, and the challenge level is pretty high. The main difference is that your character has a falcon to use at your disposal for attacks and to open doors. There are also different power-ups that can be used. While the gameplay is similar, this is definitely a unique game. Playing it, you will find that the challenge level can be quite difficult. Navigating the levels, mazes, and constant onslaught a bad guys is tough. Unfortunately the controls in this game are not the greatest. This only adds to the difficulty level. If your fan of games like these, this is definitely worth a pick up. It is a Hidden Gem in the Nintendo lineup. The music is great. Excellent Game!
If you are into Retro Games, this is one to add to your collection! Great game, great to play! This IS NOT a Castlevania Clone - it has its own unique game play and storyline.
