With this machine, you can easily begin to create your own designer pieces with exceptional style and ease.Some highlights of the Husqvarna Viking Rose include a removable accessory storage box for things like extra needles. There is a special tray to hold the presser feet and bobbins plus space for other accessories. There is flexibility for sewing large and small projects. You can remove the storage box for small projects like hemming pants. You can expand using the removable extensions table for larger jobs like finishing a quilt. Husqvarna Viking has added white to their pressure foots to make threading the sewing needle much easier. Winding a bobbin while the machine is threaded is a bonus if you run out of bobbin thread in the middle of a quilting project. Installing the bobbin is also easy with a top loading carriage for simplified installation.The control panel puts your favorite stitches right at your fingertips with preprogrammed automatic settings. These include thread tension and stitch length as well as presser foot tension adjustments based on the fabric you are using. With a built-in base of 40 stitches that you can combine, the combinations of decorative stitches and edgings are endless. Using the machine to create beautiful embroidered projects is a breeze with the built-in stitches and the included embroidery hoop. There is a wide range of preset designs and alphabets included with the Husqvarna Viking Rose. If what you are looking for isn't included with the machine's software, the embroidery card socket makes expanding your options easy. Additional embroidery patterns are widely available for use with these machines. There is even a memory feature where you can store up to 4 different programs for this machine, each with up to 55 stitches or letters.This smart machine knows when you plug in the buttonhole sensor foot and adjusts the display accordingly. In addition to sewing buttonholes, the Husqvarna Viking Rose can also sew on the button for you. All these features are outlined in the instruction manual for the machines operation as well as an embroidery manual. The embroidery manual displays all the embroideries at actual size and shows the thread color changes. The images are scalable and can be flipped to a mirror image. You can combine images with lettering or edging and save to replicate your designs. Well worth my money
I only rated it as a 4 stars because it is a old model but in great condition. I purchased this for my aunt. She had one just like it for 20 years and it broke down and Husqvarna said it could not be fixed. Viking Rose 600
I love this machine. It is a step up from the Viking Iris that I've had for the last 12 years. I am so pleased with this machine. I am able to use the software that I currently have. It does an even better job at sewing and free motion quilting than the Iris. Love the needle up/down option on this machine. Lovely Machine
This was my very first purchase form ebay and i couldn't be happier. The machine was shipped with great care, and received very timely. Well-Built Quality Machine
The Viking Rose is a well-built sewing machine. I'm still learning how to use all it's features, but I love the self-adjusting tension feature (you can also manually adjust the tension). You can also choose between three buttonhole styles: bartack buttonhole for medium/heavy fabrics, keyhole buttonhole for tailored garments, and the round end buttonhole for light fabrics. Love my Viking Rose 600!
I've sewn on Viking Sewing machines for over 45 years. This machine is wonderful. It's like an extension of my arms!!! I just completed over 2000 isolation masks, sewing 8-12 hours a day from March-November. Then followed with a month of holiday sewing. Very kool
It is different it requires an attachment to be added for embroidery mode as all viking machines do but ! the sewing quality is incredible very nice stitch very reliable and physical appearance is desireable i have come to love this machine even though i have upgraded several times and now have the large designer model I always come back to this machine because it is soo nice to use I was told many times this is the nicest model viking ever made I am begining to believe it 😉Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great Machine

It is a strong machine. It will sew through 8 layers of cotton fabric without a hicup. Would not own anything else.
