Product Information

Gamers can enlist the help of a new AI companion or once again join up to three friends for multiplayer beast battling in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, the third title in Capcom's massively popular RPG series to hit North American PSPs. Essentially an updated expansion of Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite offers players five new monsters to conquer, more than 1,400 weapons and 2,000 armor sets, and the all-new "Felyne Comrade" option, which gives gamers a way to collect extra resources in single-player mode. However, the core of the game remains Ad-Hoc multiplayer co-operative combat, in which players are encouraged to team up with more advanced hunters to gain experience and learn new fighting techniques. A new "Media Install" option lets users save the game on a memory stick for faster loading times, players can share their AI companions using the "Felyne Exchange" feature, and gamers can upload their stored Monster Hunter Freedom 2 data, a feature that Capcom claims will give Freedom Unite more than 500 hours of potential gameplay.

Excellent game
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is by far my favorite out of all of the Monster Hunter games. The combat is comparable to that of something like Dark Souls, where the attack animations are quite slow compared to the often fast-paced enemies. If you want to experience classic Monster Hunter in its purest form, I highly suggest picking up Freedom Unite. It’s got everything Freedom 1 and Freedom 2 have, plus a whole lot more. It’s a must-have PSP game!

Wonderful game!
MHFU was my first monster hunter game. I’m astounded how well it’s stood through the years. It has thousands of hours of gameplay, and is easy to pick up and dive into. I can’t recommend this game enough.

Nostalgia
This was my very first video game I remember the day my mom took me to gamestop and i grabbed this off the shelf i even still have that same one but its a great game challenging but not overly so if you prepare and take advantage of the info out there. The graphics are what youd expect. The gameplay is compelling The in game controls take a bit of learning but thats mainly due to the way the weapons in game work Its a great game if you enjoy the monster hunter series

Definitely not unfamiliar!
I’m thirty years old this year, but I was playing this game in high school! So much comfort hearing the sounds and making the choices with an even more advanced mind compared to the first time around these parts.

Great game
Fun game, stunning graphics, deep gameplay system. Overall, one of the best psp games. The only bad thing is the camera, which is controlled by the d-pad.
