Picking up where NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD left off, and still offering no explanation of why the dead are walking the earth, DAWN OF THE DEAD plunges headlong into one of the most violent and original horror films ever made. After securing an apartment building overcome with flesh-eating zombies, two Philadelphia area SWAT team members, Peter (Ken Foree) and Roger (Scott Reiniger), flee to a television station, where they escape in the station's helicopter with Francine (Gaylen Ross) and Stephen (David Emge), two station employees. Seeking refuge from the zombies and the ensuing hysteria, they land on top of a Pittsburgh area shopping mall, despite the fact that the undead seem to be flocking there. What begins as a stop for supplies becomes a longer stay as the four become embroiled in a futile war within the mall to keep their flesh to themselves and remain alive. The film's relentlessly disturbing and innovative gore effects are one reason to see DAWN OF THE DEAD, but those who can stomach the endless barrage of blood and gnarled zombie faces will be rewarded--and possibly surprised--by what the film says about human nature and life within a consumer-based culture. Any aficionado of horror is likely to place the film high on their list of revered cinema.

Great Zombie Flick!
Any of you interested in the zombie genre and the late George Romero, then you will definitely enjoy this movie. Taking place ten years after the ground breaking original "Night Of The Living Dead", it focuses people who are trapped inside of a mall. Without trying to spoil the plot, you become fully immersed into the characters, as well as their plight to escape. Dawn Of The Dead is a classic, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror movies with character development, action, and of course zombies. Enjoy!

My Favorite Movie Of All Time!
And now I finally have a sealed copy! If you know anything about the series and it's copyrighting issues you will know how incredibly rare this Blu Ray disc is! The movie itself was a breakthrough in modern film and action/horror. It was a great part in the history of cinema.

BlockBuster for the win.
This movie is super OOP. Glad to find a copy for a reasonable price. Pretty good condition only problem is the few scratches on it causing a skip about 3/4 the way through. Other than that it is a great purchase.

The best zombie movie of all time!!
One of my favorite movies of all time and I’m very happy to finally have it on blu ray and for an affordable price. The blu ray is hard to come by these days. So I’m happy to have it in the collection

dont overpay for this blu ray.
the movie is fantastic,the best horror film ever made. for some reason, certain sellers are asking ridiculous amounts for this blu ray. oop or not, it is not worth paying 60 to 100 bucks for. 40 is a fair price for a mint condition sealed copy.
