Product Information

Master director Quentin Tarantino (PULP FICTION) indulges his inner fanboy by paying homage to his favorite B-movies in DEATH PROOF. Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) stalks beautiful women with his deadly vintage car, but when he picks a trio of tough girls (Rosario Dawson, Tracie Thoms, and Zoe Bell), he learns they aren't such easy prey. As with any Tarantino film, there are plenty of nods to pop culture. Most of the scenes are deliberately short on plot development, the dialogue comes thick and fast throughout, and the film stock is often cleverly manipulated to perfectly replicate the B-movie aesthetic. DEATH PROOF was originally released as part of the GRINDHOUSE double feature with Robert Rodriguez's PLANET TERROR.

It's Not A Cool "Car Movie." Don't Waste Your Time And Money
Terrible movie and I literally threw it in the trash, lol. The protagonists have no redeemable qualities and it's impossible to root for them. Kurt Russell did the best he could with what he had to work with, but in the end he was victim of a badly misguided "Girl Power" film that was marketed as something much cooler. Quentin Taratino has wore out his welcome a long time ago. I've said many times that there is something that I call "The Hollywood Welfare System" and movies like this are proof of it. They gotta keep all of the actors, directors, crew, etc. working and they'll crank out whatever they can to keep the money flowing in. Steer clear of this so-called film and go watch Bullitt or Vanishing Point instead.

Saw this movie in bits and pieces on tv. After finally seeing the whole movie I decided to purchase this for a gift.surprised to see Kurt Russell playing this role.

Excellent movie.
The DVD was in good shape, and I have every intention of purchasing more used entertainment from you. The DVD itself was excellent. I have been searching for a good deal on the Grind house movies, and this was the best.

QT!!!
I'm a big QT fan and this is so cool that he shot it like it was the old style cinema. So refreshing and TRUST ME QT is about the only one who could do it like this and pull it off. Kurt Russell play a good bad ass..

Burn baby burn
Started slow, did not know if I was going to really like the film. In Tarantino fashion things got interesting quick and I ended up really enjoying the film.

JUST AMAZING
I was so happy when my package arrived, couldn’t even open it from so much excitement, amazing dvd, I would big time recommend this movie, plus the product is amazing, no scratches, and overall just the best movie ever.
