Enjoyable but best suited for devotees.
I have managed getting by without purchasing a Marc Antoine album in over 10 years. I decided to try this CD as I have not been hearing any of his work getting airplay. His early work was most invigorating and energetic. Think, and at least hope, he's not in a mid-life crisis and creative block at the same time. Got to listen this going to work today and is rather quite typical in his genre of work. The musical tracks are well performed and mixed but, nothing really caught me off guard as to indicating Marc was breaking some new ground. The cover was rather misleading as he s a nylon string guitar aficionado and I thought it was a possible stylistic departure for him. None of that turned out to be true or even accurate. While the tracks are pleasing enough to listen to, this is a safe venture for him but it is quite close to being 'formulaic' with the exception of only a couple of tracks.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
