This spin-off to the now classic sitcom WHAT'S HAPPENING! features more misadventures from Raj, Rerun, Dwayne, Dee, and Shirley. After three seasons of the first series, the show was cancelled, leaving fans missing the gang's hilarious antics. But reruns became so popular that the show was reborn as WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW! This show jumps seven years from where WHAT'S HAPPENING! left off, and the years have been kind to the group. Raj (Ernest Thomas) is now married, and father to a feisty foster child, Carolyn. When he's not busy trying to be a writer, he runs Rob's Diner with the help of Shirley (Shirley Hemphill). Fan favorites Dwayne (Haywood Nelson) and Rerun (Fred Berry) aren't to be forgotten as they've got jobs of their own and an apartment they share. This release includes the first season in its entirety.

What's Happening Now!! DVD review.
The DVD will not operate on my blu ray machine since it was made overseas. It does not have close caption capability.. I will order an "american" made copy of this dvd if this ever happens so I can get subtitles. Otherwise it is a "fair" DVD.
