This release presents all 22 episodes from the second season of MCLEOD'S DAUGHTERS. Claire (Lisa Chappell) and Tess (Bridie Carter) are the two daughters of the title. The McLeods have been brought together after a long period of separation, thanks to their joint inheritance of Drover's Run, a cattle farm that has been in their family for many generations. Together, the two gather an all-female group of workers to keep the place going. The show creates some admirably strong, inspirational female characters, and builds its original premise into well-crafted storylines.

Soap Opera for sure! Not sure we'll follow all 8 years. Ok so far though.
We're half way through season 2. It's going Ok. It however is more of a soap opera characteristically speaking than we usually go for. Friends suggested we might like. Yeah not our usual taste. I made the mistake while hunting down several years continued picking up some spoilers. So after year 3 which we have I doubt we'll want to continue. Sadly I had all but one year selected to order when I started adding up the doubts. Who leaves the series, who they kill off and the like. By the 8th year very few original cast is left. For now not telling my hubby any of the spoilers so we can watch through the third. Then we'll decide to go from there or not one by one not all bought in advance. I do not see the reason for the high price they seem to get for region 1 releases. I have not looked into the spin off which was cancelled too. Acting is good for the most part. Some of the plots are a bit out of kilter and I can't always understand what they are saying due to they slur the lines or over accent the words. Also unfamiliar in the states with some of the words no doubt too. At least it's not a disaster like Yellowstone was. For that it gets 5 stars to date. After year 3 not sure. They start loosing the original staff and hey people get attached as in invested. Both actors and networks need to keep that in mind if a series is going to run a while.

great series and great actors and actress, loved it being in Australia Love the way they talk
I love this series, happy, sad, enjoyable. I wish I could find the whole 8 seasons for a better, lower price then I'd buy them all.

Excellent TV series. One of the best TV series I’ve watched in a long time. Very entertaining. Absolutely love it! I wish they would bring it back .
