This is why the eighties was the best decade.
I have never experienced a portable cassette player with 5 eqs and a remote. My life has been changed not just by the device, but by the fantastic repair job done on this player. Near flawless functionality, the remote is wonderfully responsive and you can skip tracks and fast forward or rewind with great ease. Yes you can hear the winding of the cassette as it plays between tracks but once you hear the music, it takes your breath away. Every now and then it has a hick up on start up as it switches between sides annoyingly, but it eventually stops. I don't know why it does that, maybe I need to get an instruction manual somewhere to figure out if it's a slight fault or simply a symptom of how I handle the device.
