This pair of made-for-TV movies follows the action of the action-driven drama THE PRETENDER. In PRETENDER 2001, Jarod (Michael T. Weiss) meets two people from his past who reveal secrets about the mysterious Centre. This movie also begins with a recap of the show for those unfamiliar with the series. PRETENDER: ISLAND OF THE HAUNTED finds Jarod and Miss Parker (Andrea Parker) stuck on an island. As they learn more about their shared history, they must try to survive the deadly environment.

Good Wrap Up
Great follow up to the series. While not complete, since networked decided not to wrap the story up. The two movies add a sense of closure to a great story and the characters. A number of twists and surprises make for a great viewing experience.

Alas, another great show gone but not forgotten
This show was ahead of its time. The characters were intriguing and captivating. I truly miss the character of Miss Parker. Her character was callous, cold, and tenacious.

Great set of movies
I watched the series before I picked up the movies. The movies answered some of the questions but because they decided not to go with the last 2 movies, you're still hanging with more questions. Still a capitivating series. The movies are definitely needed to help you understand the entire series.

pricy
i binge watched all episodes and then realized there was a Pretender movie out there.. the way the series ended left me kind of shocked so i needed to see what happened after the explosion. to be honest..i am glad i bought and watched it but it is not essential.

I had seen them both before but wanted to see them again and to own them. The Pretender TV series is tied with Wiseguy as my favorite series.
