It's King, so it's good.
Obviously, you need to read the first three. This isn't a series that you can pick up a book and step into the middle of the story. This is, in my opinion, the best series of books ever written. I love the story, and I love that King incorporates not only his own work into the story, but the work of others as well. From the very first word in The Gunslinger, I was hooked on this series and read them all. Dark tower series is worth the read , you don't want to put them down once you start .
