Though it offers authentic, playable simulations of 11 classic machines from the 1960s through the 1990s, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection aims also to provide players with an entertaining, interactive reference to the history of pinball. Developers at FarSight Studios worked with the "curators" of the real-life "Pinball Hall of Fame" (a project headquartered in Las Vegas) in an effort to craft an accurate and relevant simulation. Each virtually re-created table is introduced with a "fly by," which points out notable features, allows players to plan strategies, and highlights artwork and interesting trivia. The game saves high scores, both by player and per table, and party-table kings and queens can unlock an additional "bonus" machine. Up to four can compete in the game's multiplayer modes.

Fun and realistic pinball play
I've had PHoF: The Williams Collection (WC) for many years and enjoyed it immensely. When I learned of the Gottlieb Collection (GC) I decided to add it to the mix. It was a good decision. The play is similarly realistic to the WC. The tables chosen for the GC seem to be of an older vintage and the graphics are not quite as good as the WC - it may well be that the GC was done first. But if you enjoy one you'll enjoy the other.

Brings back the past
The Gottlieb collection has some good and some boring machines in it. Personally I think the Williams collection by the same publisher is a better game overall with more modern machines but I don't regret owning both games.

Of course, playing old video games on new giant high res TVs are not going to look real sharp, but we expected that

Like pinball? Like "Puck Bowling"? Then buy this game.
Great retro Pinball action. I have the "Williams Collection" also, and in my opinion, the Williams has slightly better graphics. But (and this was important to me) the Gottlieb Collection has the pinball version of the old "puck bowling" game, which is a classic game of skill. If you're an old pinball addict, as well as a puck bowling fan, this game will pay for itself in no time since you're saving a quarter per game played. If you loved old pinball machines, my recommendation is to buy this, AND the Williams Collection. You'll be glad you did.

Playability like the real thing!!!
Being an old pinball kid from the 50's, it is great to play the older classic Gottlieb machines again. This is a nice collection and with real graphics and playability. I also have the Williams collection and this is great to have both. Brings back great memories. Better than some of these other pinball programs on Wii.

Very good iteration of this title.
This version is at the level of its William collection counterpart. The tables I don't like as much, but that's a matter of taste. I am satisfied with the game.

Ok, so-so graphics
Great to have for pinball folks who care about the history. Better graphics would be nice, but this is for an old console.
