Brewing time and temperature are perfectly calibrated to give you cup after cup of rich, flavorful coffee with every brew. Gotta love the bodum coffee brewer
I have used this to make coffee for some time now. My mom used one like this in the 60's and every one raved on her coffee. I'll never go back to a mr. Coffee maker yuck!! If you want the true taste of a fresh cup of coffee, give this a whirl.

Vacuum siphon coffee pot
If you’re in to siphon coffee, this pot is great. No special heat source is needed, it sits right on your stovetop. No additional items needed like filters, so it is extremely environmentally friendly and low cost. It takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of brewing, and cleaning the bulbs takes a special brush or a bit of invention, but this Bodum pot design has been around for decades and makes an incredibly good cup of coffee.

not as good as previous model
i had one in the past which broke, and i got this newer model to replace it >>> what i do not like is the newer model does not have a cotton fabric filter, just a plastic one with little grooves, that get clogged with finely ground coffee very easily I’ve had two coffee fails where it does not descend from upper chamber and is a soggy mess.

This Was a Gift To My Son.
My son told me it makes a really excellent cup of coffee, but he finds it difficult to clean. I gave him some ideas on how to clean it, but he is new to the world (he is young) and he finds it difficult. He and I are separated by 2,800 miles so I am unlikely to help further. Package arrived in excellent condition! and in relative short time!!!!!

above all else taste is supreme.
Brews the absolute best tasting coffee I've ever tasted period. It's drawbacks are a small price to pay for this. Time to brew and clean up are cons though not overwhelming.
