Welcome to the mean streets of New York. This is the dark underbelly of a bustling metropolis, where there is no law or order and 'might makes right'. Your girlfriend, Madonna, has been kidnapped by a ruthless street gang. Being the noble vigilante, you must single-handedly bust into enemy territory to rescue her. From downtown, to savage junkyards, in backstreets, and across bridges, you are going up against the toughest, rowdiest crew of punks imaginable. You are going in with your only weapons: your fists and feet (and occasionally nunchaku, when you can get them).

Vigilante Turbografx 16 game
I love many of the older games. Still very good and interesting. A joy to revisit many of them.

a solid TG-16 game
This is an under rated game in my opinion. It's not the fanciest or the best beat-em-up ever. It doesn't have the atmosphere of Splatterhouse, but it is infinitely more playable in my opinion. This game is fun and is challenging enough without being so difficult that you just give up.

Its what I expected from the arcade. Great graphics, sound, game play is ok, lacking is gameplay and too short of a game

Best beat em up for TG16
Vigilante for the TG16 is the perfect port from the arcade. Simple, but very pleasant gameplay
