Great machine for VHS/DVD
Great machine, does exactly as it says it will! Works well and easy to use once you download an almost complete manual from the internet. Quality is kind of based on the videos quality, ours are home movie style so not the best to start off with...but can now at least be seen again, and be transferred onto DVD

A good machine but only takes +R discs
Only takes DVD +R I wanted a machine that took and recorded both, as all my existing discs are -R

A well packed video, thanks.
I bought this to transfer my video tapes to my computer with a box that takes a S' video input. The recorder arrived well pact but had it's front door of the cassette loose. I fixed that back in with a little glue. The video recorder works fine and I am using it with no other problems.

rubbish
dvd jamed, would not turn off faulty, gave it to my son, who is good at fixing things, as he wanted one. complete waste of money

Remote works great for basic functions b...
Remote works great for basic functions but doesnt bring up the finalise disc option for burning dvd so the disc can only be used on the machine the disc was created on

Sanyo DVD Recorder/Player
Happy with the DVD recorder / player, only thing that's a pain is the quality of the VHS picture it's got lines going across the TV screen, other than that it's ok, plus I expected a Bush make, but it was a Sanyo make that I got.

Disappointed
It would be better if it worked properly, was hard for person to set to record then it recorded for so long then switched off you carnt set a program to record and leave it.
