A decent Slayer release
Christ Illusion is a trustworthy, decent album. It's got straightforward thrash songs. The album contains some very fast and angry thrashers as well as a few mid-paced. All of the best parts sound like early SLAYER. The band still has it to make quality tunes. Dave's such a good, driving, intense drummer. He makes the album come alive and tracks such as Skeleton Christ and Cult owe so much to his talent. The songwriting quality varies a bit. The most enjoyable tracks are the more traditional SLAYER songs. The fast-moving opener, Flesh Storm or the extremely mosh-worthy Black Serenade which both reek of past glories. Catalyst, Cult, track 6 and track 10 are all quality SLAYER tracks. This is a decent release from mighty SLAYER.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
