Too difficult to set up and record on to dvd's.
I have a DMR-E80H, and I thought this unit would be pretty much the same.....but it's not. The set up function was too difficult to figure out, even with the manual. The only reason I purchased it was because it had a 120GB hard drive. Anyway, I sold the unit on Ebay a month later after exhausting every avenue to make this thing work. Recorder and Editing tool
Great for uploading & recording your old VCR videos and then editing out commericials using the editing function. Then you can record the new edited version to a DVD with this machine or an external DVD burning machine. You can also record regular free TV but will need a digital tuner hooked up. Easy. You can also record cable but you will need to hook it up properly. A little tedious learning how to do everything in the beginning but easy when you figure it out.

Great features, great quality recording and dvd burning.
I love this Panasonic DMR-E80H. I can edit out what I don't like, split a 6 hour recording into as many parts as I want, This is a replacement for another DMR-E80H that had a bad DVD drive, that unit was used almost on a daily basis. Just what I needed

Great dvd recorder.
For a fairly old model DVD recorder, it does a pretty decent job of playing and recording tv. Although dvd recording is not necessary these days, it’s nice to know I have a backup, if I need one. This is my second DVD recorder.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
