A Cheap but Great SLR
I do photography as a hobby, and got this on a whim. I've never shot with a proper SLR before; I have only use disposable or an old all in one film camera. Being that I already have a Rebel T7, my EF lenses (not EF-S) worked like a charm. The autofocus works well in all but very low light conditions where it struggles. It's easy to use and will feel familiar if you have already used a canon DSLR. I quite like how light it is and how sturdy it feels. The built in flash on mine won't fire, but my external modern ETTL flash works with it. The only problem is that I have to set the focal length on it manually, and for some reason, it skips numbers; like instead of being able to choose 100mm for my macro lens, I can choose either 80mm or 105mm. It must be a limitation of this camera because this isn't an issue on my T7. If you buy this camera you will want to clean off the mirror and focal plane (above the mirror) with isopropyl rubbing alcohol and a cue tip like I did to get any stuff off of it. This takes two 3v CR123a batteries (not 3.7v). You will have to get them off of amazon or other such site. Alternatively, you might get lucky and find a BP-8 battery pack somewhere that let's it take four AA batteries. Pay attention to the light meter (<-3--2--1--0--1--2--3>), it will appear on the LCD screen and in the viewfinder. It's the only way to know if your picture will be properly exposed. It should be sitting on 0. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. Keep in mind, this is an entry level SLR, and lacks more professional level features, but that may not matter to you.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Nice, but smelly.
I recently purchased a camera. And don’t get me wrong. Camera is nice. It came 3 days after purchase which was great and when I opened the package I was very upset to sell straight up cigarettes. The strap and camera itself smell awful. I have to de sanitize and wash the strap to get rid of the awful smell. Models as a camera but only plays one on TV
Product functioned well as a paperweight, being a film camera that doesn't wind the film or unwind. Cannot take photos because of that but you sure can pretend to as the film lays dormant and unmoved in the camera. I will say this, the shipping was ok an the quality of the product was pristine.
