Love this Game & I missed it so much
I had this game years ago and had been looking to replace it. Even without a manual, I'm enjoying the Feudal Fairy Tale all over again, with no glitches or freezing. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. It plays perfectly fine on my 3DS XL (despite people saying it stretches the pixels.) The character involvement is engaging and the music makes me feel like I'm in the anime. The only things I don't entirely like is how high-pitched the powering up is when Kagome fires a Sacred Arrow or Janis uses her Kamui's powers, which I didn't exactly remember. Otherwise, I'm not at all disappointed and am having lots of fun playing my favorite game again.

Inuyusha is one of my all time favorite anime’s to watch and I enjoy playing the games even more.

A good if rather unappreciated RPG Game
For any fan of Inuyasha, the game Inuyasha and the Secret of the Divine Jewel is a good game to own. Despite having harsh and critical reviews I rather enjoy the game and think it is a rather good quality considering the gaming platform the game is designed for. The game introduces all the well known characters and new ones that centre around a unique storyline while still remaining true to the original Inuyasha plot. The graphics are very good for a DS game, overall the graphics are similar to the early Pokémon games (particularly Ruby and Sapphire) but with slightly more detailed sprites. The game also features a variety of Back Ground Music (BGM) which some fans of the Inuyasha anime may recognise. The gameplay is designed as a turn based battle system where party members take turns to attack, defend, use items or escape from various enemies. Winning battles results in gaining experience and levelling up characters increasing stats such as HP, EP (equivalent to MP, allowing characters to perform certain skills/attacks e.g. Inuyasha using Blades of Blood, Wind Scar and even the Backlash Wave or Sango using Hiraikotsu), ATK, DEF, DEX and AGI. Players can take time to explore the map but may find the constant enemy encounters frustrating and a rather off putting feature of the game although the constant encounters are rather good for level grinding. Overall, personally I rather enjoy the RPG and the style of the game but to each their own. I would recommend that fans of the game try to play it themselves in order to make their own judgements before writing off the game completely.
