Elvis Presley performs in Honolulu, Hawaii, in this 1973 concert. Among the 25 titles included are "Blue Suede Shoes," "Suspicious Minds," and "C.C. Rider." Elvis made television and entertainment history as this was the first-ever live concert broadcast over satellite, reaching in excess of one billion people worldwide.Note: Elvis' performances of I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, I Can't Stop Loving You, and Johnny B. Goode in the Aloha From Hawaii concert have been deleted from the newly re-released DVD/VHS editions of this program. Music publishing clearance from the songs' owners was up for renewal and an agreement could not be reached.This edited version is the only available version of Elvis' historic Aloha From Hawaii concert.

Glad to have it, but.......
Been wanting this concert in my library for some time, and the price was very reasonable. I found the audio to be very good. The video was acceptable but not made for today's television format. It comes across a bit stretched out sideways, especially noticeable in the wider angle shots.

Thank you soo much for this, I used to own this on VHS and used to watch it also on HBO with my mother and brother when i was a kid, So this brought back lots of memories! Thank you also for the lovely note attached, it gave the purchase a bit more meaning and thoughtfulness. I'll definitely be purchasing from you more in the future

Great. Awesome.
Great live performance of Elvis. I most definitely recommend it. DVD was actually a Christmas present to my Dad. He loves Elvis.

Its ok.
I was a little disappointed in this dvd, its strictly a film of the concert, not much else. Would have been nice to have some background or interviews. This was a giant worldwide telecast, i'd think there would be lots of interesting background. Concert itself was good, it was Elvis, he never just phoned it in.

Elvis never disappoints…
Great concert…one of his best. He was in top form physically and vocally. The quality and sound of the video was good too.

for the Love of Elvis
I saw Elvis at the International Hotel in Las Vegas in 1971 on my honeymoon! I will always love Elvis and I am so glad I was able to get this dvd!

Elvis Aloha From Hawaii
This is the only concert to buy. It is worth every penny. Spend a little more and get the best of Elvis. The focus is on him on stage the entire time. He was a beautiful man with an incredible vocal range.This is just the one I wanted and got. There are NO shots of older men talking right in the middle, constant scenes of back-up singers, and men playing instruments. This is all Elvis on stage. I recommend it as his very best concert ever.

One of Elvis' best
This was one of the first, I think the first, telecasts via satellite around the world. Elvis was very proud of it and more importantly the music by Elvis and his band was truly outstanding. Probably is best concert. I listen to it today and chills still go up my spine when he sings various songs, especially "Trilogy".
