Il Cinema Paradiso - a very engaging and emotional film, one to watch over and again
An excellent Italian story with tremendous score and storyline. The photography and film direction are of the highest quality. The actors are engaging and beautifully portray life in Italy of many years ago and more recent times. Amazing film. Very engaging. Fully deserved to win the Oscar for best foreign film that year.
Loved the film especially the long Directors Cut which gave more insight to the story and characters. The additional extras DVD was also very useful and added further depth and understanding of where and how the story evolved, The soundtrack CD was great too. Wonderful film
This is one of the most beautiful films to come out of Italy and is just perfection. A classic
I can't believe I have only just seen this film. It has been on my "list" for years but I just never made the time. It's charming, entertaining and, in my opinion, a classic.
