It's nice to find a motor in this size made for airplanes. The mount makes screwing the motor to a firewall easy. The shaft is a sturdy 3mm and uses a either a bullet collet or a prop saver you have to buy separately. I used this motor on a 60" foamboard glider. It has a healthy climb rate. The price is a bit more than I usually pay for a motor this size with no propeller mount.
Edit: The 2nd motor failed after less than one hour. The rear bearing developed a bad vibration and noise. Be careful when putting the motor in the mount. The solder connections are bare and can short out to the motor mount. I hope the third time is the charm.
