Decent for price
Smaller than last desktop, but not small form factor. Took to local shop for setup as I wasn't familiar with Windows 10. I don't really like the vertical CD drive--a little hard to use, but it works and that's apparently what they need to do to make it smaller. Biggest disappointment was that it stopped working after 4 months. Back to local shop and they said computer and hard drive ok but Windows 10 became corrupted so they had to setup all over again--I'm skeptical that they needed a complete do over at more than original setup fee, but I was at their mercy. Software problem, so warranty wouldn't cover--tho it had run out anyway since this was a refurb. Oh well, it's working great now and orig price for refurb was good. I would still buy another refurb but would save money and do setup myself like I used to do before Windows 10

Refurb HP PAVILION 550 Desktop PC
Purchased two of these refurbed models. The processor is very fast (i7 4790) and adding a graphics card was a piece of cake. The desktops came with Win 7, upgraded them both to Win 10 with no problems. I have been running both desktops for over a month with no issues -- games run well, MS Office runs well, no problems and no complaints. Even though these models are about 5 years old, they still hold up well and should last several years. Very happy with these models.

HP factory refurb Pavilion is great value
HP does a nice job with these 'refurb' units. Everything works and shows little or no wear. It's all super clean and is packed just like a new one would be. The vertical DVD burner could stand to be a bit less flimsy, but at this price, that's nothing. HP warranty is only 30 days, so make sure you use the heck out of it to check everything out. I'd by another one.

Would not load HP printer software. I had to call HP and spend about an hour for it to work.

Good computer
I really like the computer , but it would really be nice if it had came with some preinstalled programs. For the price .......I love it !

Great performance
Bought this to replace my husband's old, slow pc. He's into cars and like to watch top gear videos and would always complain how slow the old one was. This one keeps him quiet for hours and hours. GREAT!
