Original Moosewood Cookbook
Thank you for the original edition of this book. It is in great condition, and I am happy to have it back in my library. I loved the original recipes, before they were updated, and have been looking for this version for years.

Fantastic cookbook with easy and delicious recipes
I ADORE this cookbook. It is in even better condition than I expected. I held a dumb supper for Samhain and decided to focus on loved ones who were alive in 1977. I got this Moosewood to help me with menu planning since I wasn’t alive then (the dumb supper was for my husband’s loved ones) and I had oodles of options and ended up making 4 things from it: Mushroom barley soup, mushroom and cheese stuffed acorn squash, apple crisp and pumpkin pie. All turned out wonderfully. I plan to use this for Thanksgiving and Yule as well! I haven’t been this excited over a cookbook in a long time. It’s also laugh out loud funny at times and has beautiful artwork. I posted a picture of one of the details that made me laugh.

Moosewood Cookbook is easy to use in it's paperback binding
I have very happily owned a copy of this cookbook for many years. My husband and I love the recipes we've tried. The use of herbs in the dishes is masterful. I was given the book that I own, and I bought this one to give to a knew friend who also loves good food.

So happy
This was definitely a older version and a little sun fadded on the outside but im not complaining. Especially for the price ($3.00!) I've wanted this cook book for years and im so happy I finally own it. The inside is perfect cant wait to try the recipes.

Great cookbook for first time vegetarians!
I have always wanted to switch to a vegetarian diet, and lately with my lipids rising I decided it was time. I asked online and nearly everyone said this was the book to go to. I've only made a few recipes from it so far, but have enjoyed them very much. Some ingredients aren't readily available in the grocery store, but are easily substituted, The recipes are pretty simple to make as written. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants more meatless meals in their diet.

Vefetarian classic endures!
This is a classic work on vegetarian cooking, and once you see it, you'll understand its enduring popularity. The recipes are varied, including Indian fare (samosas, curry), Jewish favorites (kugel), even "hippie" delights, designed to be accesible even to beginning cooks. The handdrawn illustrations are lovely and encourage leisurely browsing. A welcome addition to any kitchen, vegetarian or not!

Fun easy cookbook
such a fun cook book. Even though I'm now vegan, the recipes are easy to adapt and so far it's all come out good. I had borrowed the book from a friend and absolutely fell in love with it, so now I have my own copy.

A Kitchen Standard
My old, original Moosewood Cookbook was falling apart. The binding had broken and split it in two. Finding another original copy of this kitchen standard is a joy! So many wonderful recipes, so little time...
