What a disappointment!
This collection of stories is the worst disappointment in years! Alice Munro is one of the most acclaimed Canadian writers of the day, so I don't know how she came out with this messed-up melange of stories. Yes, there's supposed to be a theme, but the stories are oddly disconnected. Only one was any good out of the whole book.
